Artistic Director Bil Jackson, principal clarinet with the Colorado
Symphony Orchestra, is regarded as one of the finest clarinetists in America. His co-Artistic Director Steven Copes,
concertmaster of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, is one of America's most highly regarded violinists. Together
Bil and Steve co-founded The Alpenglow Chamber Music Festival in 1998. And together they have invited among the
very best, internationally acclaimed solo and chamber music players to participate in the Festival. These musicians,
in addition to Bil and Steve are:
- Rieko Aizawa, Steinway
artist and internationally acclaimed recitalist
- Edward Arron, cellist
and teaching artist for the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center
- Suren Bagratuni, cellist,
guest soloist for U.S. tour of the National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia
- Jonathan Crow, 23
year old Violinist, Associate Concertmaster and youngest member of Montreal Symphony Orchestra
- Steven Dibner, Associate
Principal Bassoonist with the San Francisco Symphony
- Colin Jacobson, Violinist
who toured in 2001 with Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Project
- Max Mandel, Violist
of the Flux Quartet, New York's foremost contemporary music string quartet and active chamber music soloist.
- Dov Scheindlin, violist
of the prestigious Arditti String Quartet, winners of the Siemens Musikpreis in Munich and the Royal Philharmonic
Award in London in 1999
